About this place

An old village house in Marmeleira, restored from the ground up. Four bedrooms, a solar-heated private pool, and a courtyard that opens onto the cobblestones. Set up for one large family, two families together, or a remote-work month.

Long-standing — older than anyone in the village remembers. We’re keeping the character of the original walls and the terracotta roof, and adding everything modern life needs: underfloor heating, triple glazing, A+ energy, fast internet. Project phase — opens Summer 2027.

Minimum stay

Seven nights minimum in season. Monthly stays available at reduced rates in low season.

Children & babies

No minimum age. Baby cot on request, shallow end in the pool, enclosed play area, fully fenced perimeter.

Dogs welcome

Yes — fully fenced. Off the furniture and out of the pool, please. Mention them in your enquiry.

Air conditioning

Yes, in every bedroom and the main living area. The house is also passively designed — thick walls, cross-ventilation.

Group size

Sleeps ten comfortably, twelve with the sofa bed. Outdoor table seats ten-plus.

Check-in & out

Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 11am. Often flexible — just ask.

Guided experiences

Salt-pan tour, Nazaré trip, wine tour. Optional, arranged locally, priced separately. Honest quotes only.
